A: go to jcwhitney they have a full line of replacement and auxiliary fuel tanks, as well has the selector valve that switch's from one tank to the other and this does the switching of fuel gauges as well, just go to jcwhitney.com or call em at 1-800-529-4486 and you may have to call em as its a 2007 may not be listed yet, check with your dealer and see if 06 is the same just in case, but with the 08s coming out already they should have it in stock, also check summitracing.com, they have a full line as well or call them at 1-800-230-3030

Hey all I was just wondering how much it would cost to put a remote start in my 07 Sierra...I know it should have came with one but it didn't so what's the ballpark cost of putting one in? I'm thinking about going to Auto Toyz and then a dealership and see which is cheaper. I'm assuming auto toyz but hey let me know. Thanks.
A: IF YOU REALLY HAVE TO HAVE THIS I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU LET THE DEALER INSTALL IT FOR YOU, IT WILL BE EXPENSIVE BUT YOU NEED TO REMEMBER ABOUT YOUR WARRANTY.
I HAVE SEEN THIS OVER AND OVER AGAIN THAT WHEN SOMETHING AFTERMARKET IS INSTALLED AND SOMETHING GOES WRONG THE FIRST THING THAT THE DEALER WILL BLAME IS THE AFTERMARKET ITEM.
YOU WONT HAVE A CHOICE IN THE MATTER WHEN THEY TELL YOU THIS SO THINK ABOUT IT.

I have a 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 and want to play my MP3 player through the radio. I have looked at some kits but they require that I disconnect the XM. I understand that the 2007 model comes with a MP3 jack. My question is does anyone know if the 2007 stock radio will fit in the 2006 model truck?

but it doesn't need any more air. How do you reset it w/o having to go to the dealer?
A: If the CHECK TIRE PRESSURE message is displayed on the DIC and the low tire pressure indicator is displayed on the IPC. Both the message and indicator can be cleared by adjusting the tire pressures to the recommended psi.

OK,a little involved, but here goes.
Ignition ON,
• On vehicles equipped with keyless entry, simultaneously press the keyless entry transmitters lock and unlock buttons until a double horn chirp sounds indicating the Learn Mode has been enabled.
• On vehicles not equipped with keyless entry, press and release the driver information center (DIC) INFO button until the TIRE LEARN message appears on the DIC display. Press and hold the SET/RESET button until a double horn chirp sounds indicating the Learn Mode has been enabled.
Start with the left front.
Increase or decrease the tire pressure for 8-10 seconds then wait for a horn chirp. The horn chirp may occur before or up to 30 seconds after the 8-10 second pressure increase/decrease time period has been reached. Once the horn chirp has sounded, the sensor information is learned Do the same procedure for the other three in order... R/F--R/R--L/R.
When the L/R has learned, a double horn chirp will sound indicating all sensors have learned.
Turn ignition OFF.... adjust tire pressures to specs.
Q: Is there anyway I can add a 2nd - 26 gallon fuel tank to my 2007 GMC Sierra Classic Duramax?
I am trying to achieve dual fuel tanks for extended driving range.
A: Not sure if you can add another tank, but I think you can get an optional 44 gallon tank and replace your 26 gallon one, Good Luck
Q: GMC question. 2007 Sierra Crewcab 4x4 What changes if you change the original wheels with larger wheels.?
GMC 20 inch wheels with 275/55SR20 Goodyear Eagle LS-2 tires transfered from 2007 Sierra 1500 Crewcab 4x4 with SLT trailering package with 3.73 rear end, to a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 crewcab 4x4 with Max trailering package that had 17 inch wheels with Bridgestone Dueler A/T on off road P265/70SR17 tires on it. These tires are original factory installed equipment on respective trucks. Are there suspension differiences which would not allow the swap ? Will it change the towing capacity ? Can the on board computer be programed for the wheel swap ? The GMC answer is generic and noncommital.
A: Hmmm... 275/55-20 vs. 265/70-17 - is there a difference in outside tire diameter? If not, you might be able to get away without recalibrating the computer. But you will have to relearn the tire pressure sensor posittions.
I think any towing capacity change would be minimal.

I like the active fuel management except for one thing.It's too touchy.The slightest thing puts it back to v8 mode.So does anyone know how i could add a switch to prevent that?I'd like to be able to force it to stay in v4 mode.Does anyone have any ideas how i could do that?Does it work off the TPS?If not what triggers it between modes?Thanks in advance.
A: I agree with the other answer. Its a new technology and it will take a few years to really become "normal"...until then just persist because any fiddling will void your new car warranty.

A: You can adjust it with a hypertech power programmer. Be sure your tires are up to it and you have a safe place to do it.

Im just trying to figure out if the GMC Sierra 2007 is offered in a regular cab short bed configuration. It doesnt say it on the corporate website, nor on sites like yahoo auto or msn auto. But Ive seen a few ads in canada and the states where there are 2007 sierra reg.cab and short bed. Whats happening?
Does GMC and Chevy offer this config or not??
A: I'm fairly certain it comes in the standard bed or 8' bed only. You can get a short bed w/the crew cab. Check the GM website to be sure.
