I want a little extra boom in my truck, i have a 2002 sr5 toyota tacoma 4 door and im not too sure if 2 10's will fit behind my seats, anyone know?
A: there is a small compartment on the side you can fit one 10 or 1 12 if you cut the metal and make a fiberglass box there you will need to cut the metal and make the box 8 deep when is finish use undercoating on the outside so the water don't damage the box
and you will have plenty space inside

A: Basically about the same. The Frontier will be cheaper to buy, and ain't a damn thing wrong with them. All things being relative though, you'll get less when you sell or trade it in.

A: My '87 4banger has gotten me through the toughest offroad trails around. With a trailer, you would probably want the six, depending on what kind of loads you will carry. Those four cylinder engines are great, last forever, have low range torque for off-roading, and make pretty good truck engines (unless you will tow a 28' ski boat)

ONE SIDE AT A TIME, REMOVE BRAKE CALIPER AND SET ASIDE, CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEVEL, HAVE THE ROTORS MACHINED, SPRAY METAL SIDE WITH BRAKE QUITE, CORRECT TOOLS NEED FOR THE NEXT STEP BUT YOU CAN USE A LARGE C-CLAMP TO COMPRESS THE CALIPER PISTON.
INSTALL NEW PADS AND RE-SECURE BRAKE CALIPER, CHECK FLUID AND PUMP UP BRAKE PEDAL.
SAME FOR OTHER SIDE.
REAR BRAKES W/ ROTORS.
SAME AS ABOVE.
REAR BRAKES W/ DRUMS.
SIMILAR TO ABOVE BUT YOU WILL NEED SOME TYPE OF HELP DUE TO THE HARDWARE THAT IS INVOLVED.
IF YOU HAVE NEVER DONE THIS BEFORE, TAKE IT TO YOUR LOCAL INDEPENDENT AUTO REPAIR SHOP, NOT A CHAIN STORE OR THE DEALER.

Q: how to take off break drum on back axle on a 2002 toyota tacoma 4 wd and how to take off the front disc brake?
A: You can buy the manual from most parts stores for around 20.00 you can also go to alldata.com (I go to my library where it is free to use) I have the online ($) for my car because I do all the work on it. Most vehicles to take the drum off you just take the wheel off remove the clips on the studs (if it has them) get on the back side and look for a hole with a rubber plug in it pull the plug use a brake spoon tool to release the brakes tap the drum to loosen it and just pull it off. Most front rotors are one of two types the one piece rotor and the 2 piece set-up (Rotor is mounted on the studs) take off the wheel Use the tool required to take off the caliper assembly look for a clip on the stud take it off (2 piece) and pull the rotor off, you may have tap it. 1 piece is the sam thru the rotor now take the center cap apart remove the cotter pin or bend the tangs down on the axle nut remove the nut ,retainer,washer, bearing and pull the whole thing off thats just to get them off so if you dont have the specialty tools to do the work ie hex socket, brake spoon torx bit socket wrenches for the center cap socket for the main axle nut and maybe a torque wrench. you might just want to take it to a a shop. You will need the specs on setting the axle nut and adjusting the brake drums not to mention that you prob have abs on the truck and it is easier to screw up the abs dont ask how much to fix that more than you ever want to pay (1-3 grand) look for a sale on labor at a local shop and find out what you would pay for the tools then decide Good luck

A: it is allot like changing the oil, but you do not have a filter. you locate the check and drain plugs, make sure that you can get them bothy loose, before you go too far. drain the transmission onto a suitable container, plug it back up at the bottom. put enough fluid into it so that it just dribbles out of that hole, then plug it back up. you are done. be sure that you get the correct fluid for the trans, though. some of them require a synthetic fluid.

A: It depends on how much work you want to invest. You have to keep in mind under the hood, inside the door panels... If you take it to aamco, they do a decent job for a couple of hundred bucks. If you know someone, you can get it done for about a grand. It's not the paint that gets you, it's the labor. Black is fairly inexpensive paint. Just don't go to a body shop.
